Why I Created This Workshop

After years of working with women on their weight loss journeys, I saw how often the focus was only on food rules and numbers, not on the deeper relationship with our bodies and wellbeing. I wanted to create something different! A space where women could reconnect with themselves, rediscover joy in nourishing their bodies, and design a personalised wellbeing compass to guide them through 2026 and beyond.
This workshop blends creativity, reflection, and a touch of fun (yes, even chocolate!) to help you move away from restriction and towards alignment, balance, and peace with food and yourself.

What you'll experience

This isn’t your typical wellness workshop. It’s a creative, nourishing experience designed to help you reconnect with your body and rediscover joy in food and self-care. You’ll start by crafting your personal Wellbeing Compass: think vision board but on a way deeper level were not just making goals here, were creating a plan. Through guided reflection, meaningful conversations, and a playful afternoon focusing on nutrition, mental health and body image you’ll learn how to tune into your body’s signals and build a positive relationship with food based on knowledge, self compassion and trust.

Who Its For

Beyond the Plate is for women who are ready to rebuild a peaceful, joyful relationship with food and their bodies. You might have been through weight loss surgery, years of dieting, or simply feel disconnected from what true nourishment means for you.

You’re tired of the guilt, the rules, and the constant noise about what you “should” eat. Deep down, you know there’s a kinder, more intuitive way to care for yourself, one that honours your body, your emotions, and your story.

Hey, I'm Lisa

Award-winning Mumpreneur with over 10 years’ experience in clinical nutrition and mental health.

I’ve spent my career supporting women who give endlessly to others, yet often forget to nourish themselves. Through Me Time and now Beyond the Plate, I’m creating spaces where women can pause, reconnect, and rediscover what true nourishment feels like.

This workshop is part of that mission: Bringing women together to empower change, rebuild trust with their bodies, and find joy in food and self-care again.
